CHOICES

I can be whoever, however, wherever
It’s up to me to say ‘now’ or ‘never’
I can choose to be still or flow like a river
It’s my choice to act stupid or be clever.

You can’t force me off my will
You can never beat me at my skill
You can’t push me to take your deal
You can’t teach me my own drill.

Only I can decide what happens to my life
Whether I choose to stay single or take a wife
Or maybe look at the other end which may not be nice
But it’s my life, my decision to be precise.
We all make choices, whether good or bad
For instance, I disowned my dad
It’s not up to you to tell if it’s wise or mad
Though it comes with a consequence for me to be an abandoned lad.
